Our Founder
Dr. Ahunna Freeman is the owner of Southside Discount Pharmacy and the Director of Clinical Services. Dr. Freeman believes that the community pharmacy should not only serve as a medication dispensary but as a healthcare “hub” for community residents. She imagines a clinical community pharmacy as a place where patients can fully gain knowledge in medications or medication-related issues, properly manage their disease states with the assistance of an expert in the community, and understand the importance of preventive care. Dr. Freeman resides in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with her husband, Scottie, and their 3 sons. In her free time, Dr. Freeman enjoys running, making her native Nigerian dishes, traveling, and spending time with her family.
